A twenty-four-year-old nurse from Sydney, Australia is believed to have died while holidaying in Fiji.
According to several Australian media reports, Kelly Clarke was taken to Lautoka hospital last Wednesday before passing away on Friday, with doctors unable to determine what caused her death.
The woman came to Fiji for honeymoon with her twenty-eight-year-old husband Chase Clarke.
Sydney Morning Herald reports it was initially suspected that Clarke had passed away due to typhoid; however blood tests revealed that the disease was not the cause of her death.
Clarke’s family is now trying to raise money to help fly her back to Australia.
Questions have been sent to the Health and Medical Services Ministry.
