The Fiji Police Force is pleading with the public to not include children in issues concerning adults.

This comes after a 22 year old woman is alleged to have attempted to take the lives of her children by making them consume harmful substances following an argument with her husband Tuesday morning.

She also attempted to take her own life.

ACP Henry Brown says, it is disturbing to see this type of behavior arising as it has resulted in innocent children getting hurt over issues they have no knowledge of. As adults we should be mindful of our actions and avoid involving our children in conflicts.

The woman is now admitted with her two children aged 4 and 2 years old at the Lautoka Hospital.
