Some of the issues highlighted include drainage problem in farms, poor farm road conditions, difficulty in taking produce to the market and lack of visit by agricultural officers.

“My advice to the farmers, please work closely with the nearest office staff – if you need any assistance please go to the nearest office – our team is there to assist and guide you and we will continue to move around and maybe if there are other issues than we can hear during the talanoa sessions.”

Pillay says he will continue his visit to other farming areas.
