August 22, 2012 1:05 am

Assessors in the FICAC case against former Roko Tui Rewa Savenaca Kamikamica have found him not guilty on all three counts of embezzlement.

In summing up this morning Judge Priyantha Fernando had reminded the assessors that Kamikamica was charged with three counts of embezzlement.

However, after summing up, defence lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry, told Justice
Fernando that he did not clearly state and define the legal meaning of transferring ownership of property.

The three assessors had to be recalled before they deliberated on the verdict.
