Three Suva High Court assessors have returned with a unanimous guilty opinion in the case involving the former pilot.

Imshaad Izraar Ali has been charged with one count of murder.

Ali allegedly murdered his defacto partner Rajeshni Sharma on Rewa Street in Samabula, Suva nine-years ago.

After a lengthy summing up by the Judge late yesterday afternoon the assessors had retired to deliberate on an opinion.

They unanimously found Ali guilty of one count of murder.

Judge Justice Vincent Perera will deliver his verdict this afternoon.
