Fiji needs appropriate tools and data to better understand the stress of climate change in the Pacific.

Minister for National Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu says the country needs multi-hazard warning systems and clear map directions of cyclones.

“The Pacific needs multi-hazard warning systems. Given the facts that we are amongst the most vulnerable and most importantly we are experiencing the effects of climate change as they are occurring and the devastating effects brought about by disasters. We need state of the art technology to help us in our fight against these calamities.”
