The National Federation Party wants to be ahead of all political parties running for the 2018 General Elections.
Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad has revealed due to the popularity of the Party they have received a tremendous number of applications from people of all walks of life vying for the NFP ticket.
Professor Prasad says the party has established a selection committee to vet the applications.
”We have not decided the candidates as yet, the party is continuing to receive expression of interest. We have formed a selection committee and that committee will decide on the candidates selected for 2018 General Elections but that will not happen now, but later in the year.”
The man from Dreketi who will lead the party again in the next general election says he is overwhelmed with the support.
Prasad however says applications are still open for any interested person who wants to make a difference.
He has not revealed any names yet but says his party will field quality and qualified individuals.
