Sharing information and ideas are the objectives for Fiji during the 37th Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators in Nadi.

Commissioner of Corrections Commander Francis Kean says that the partnership formed in APCCA has been a strength of bilateral relations between member countries.

Commander Kean says with the theme of “Leaders in Rehabilitation” it is important for them to carry the mantle of leading rehabilitation and ensuring that they win the hearts of those under their care.

He says they will continue to help prisoners make life changing decisions and become law abiding citizens when they are released.

23 countries are currently attending the 3 day conference at the Sofitel Resort.
