A heavy rain alert still remains in force for some areas.

These areas include Vanua Levu, Taveuni, and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti and Yasawa Group and the Eastern half of Vit Levu.

The Fiji Met Office says another trough of low pressure is approaching the group from the West and is expected to affect Fiji for the next few days.

More rain is expected later tomorrow.

Localized heavy falls may lead to flash flooding for low lying areas.
