Another fake $10 note was discovered in a shop at Tavua yesterday.

The incident was reported at Tavua Police Station by a 35yr old man after he spent $20 on buying cigarettes and was returned with change which included the fake note.

Whilst investigations continue into the matter, this is the 11th report of involving fake note that has been received in the Western Division.

Police continue to plead with members of the public to be cautious while trading with money and to verify money notes carefully.
