The Online Safety Bill which was passed in the parliament earlier this year will come into effect from Tuesday.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the Bill which seeks to promote online safety through the Online Safety Commission will be led by Commissioner Anne Dunn.

Sayed-Khaiyum says awareness will be created so those who are fast falling prey to social media abuse and online content can have a place to lodge complaints.
