An article was published on the Fijian Broadcasting Corporation website, dated July 31st, 2022, titled, “Schools urged to purchase tablets and laptops”.

It quoted Minister for Education, Premila Kumar as saying that schools being urged to purchase laptops and tablets was part of Government’s “One Laptop per Child policy”.

This is incorrect and we retract this statement and apologize to the Ministry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
