“For too long, you have been deprived of having access to electricity. However, through the commitment of this Government to leave no Fijians behind, you and your children will now have the opportunity to enjoy and share the benefits of this important infrastructure.”

Resident Sarun Sar says for more than 70 years, they had to rely on lanterns and generators.

He says the project will now also make it easier for children to study especially at night.
