The prosecution objected to his bail saying it is an indictable and serious offence and the accused can interfere with the witness.

The prosecution also said the matter is of public interest.

The prosecution also stated in Court that there is no domestic relationship between the accused and the victim.

Meanwhile the accused mentioned in Court that he has reconciled with the victim’s parents, but Magistrate Vandhana Lal said this is not a reconcilable offence.

The matter will be recalled on February 12th to decide on the transfer of the case.
