Alleged murderer told to find a lawyer

A 20-year-old woman alleged to have murdered her daughter was today told to find a lawyer who can come to court.
This after her lawyer failed to appear in court.
Luisa Maria Kumar and her 28-year-old partner allegedly murdered a two-year-old girl in Nakasi last month.
The victim was allegedly found lying unconscious in their Nakasi home by her mother.
She was rushed to the Valelevu health center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The post-mortem revealed the child sustained serious injuries resulting in her death.
Upon further inquiry, the investigators discovered that Narayan and Kumar had allegedly been fighting and the child was caught in the middle of the dispute.
State today informed the court that they have filed the disclosures however asked for 14 days to file further information.
The matter has been adjourned to 9th May.
The duo have been further remanded in custody.
