A 35-year-old woman who allegedly killed her four-year-old daughter by driving her car off near Kasavu last month will take her plea in two weeks time.
Rozleen Razia Nisha who is charged with one count of murder appeared in the Suva High court yesterday and informed the court that she wants to withdraw from Legal Aid.
She said she now wishes to engage the services of a private counsel.
The High court granted the application and Nisha will now be represented by a private lawyer.
She asked the court to defer her plea to a later date.
On the night of 6th May, the victim and Nisha had left their home in Vuci South and on their way to Kasavu, it is alleged she called her husband stating she was going to take both their lives and drove her vehicle into the Rewa River.
The matter has been adjourned to the 16th of this month
