Alleged murder victim yet to be identified

Police are again pleading for assistance in identifying an iTaukei man believed to be in his 20s who was a victim of an alleged murder.

Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, says investigators need to identify the victim before a post mortem can be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

The alleged murder took place after 10pm last Thursday at the Suva Foreshore.

The Force today released the photos of a number of items found at the crime scene and also worn by the victim in the hope someone will have information that could assist in identifying him.

The victim has short black hair, is 5’6 tall, slim built, fair complexion and was wearing a bracelet with the words FR initialed on it.

He was also wearing a gold plated stud earing on his right ear.

Items found at the scene include a cap, another bracelet and a pair of black Bata flip flops.
