It’s alleged the accused lost control of the vehicle and hit three pedestrians at Kanace road in Valelevu on Sunday.

The victims were rushed to the hospital and one of the three pedestrians, a thirty-year-old woman was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Police prosecution objected to bail saying the accused committed an indictable offence and requested the matter to be transferred to High Court.

Prosecution also informed the court that Ratoto was disqualified from driving for six months by Nasinu Magistrates Court earlier in July.

The matter has been transferred to the Suva High Court.

The case will be recalled on September 28th.

Meanwhile, two other victims involved in the accident remain admitted at the hospital.

Police say one of the victim is on life support.
