A fifty-year-old man of Rewa Street in Suva has been issued a bench warrant for not attending his court case this morning.

John Lettao is charged with one count of found in possession of illicit drugs namely marijuana, weighing 32.9 grams.

The court heard on the 11th of June, last year three police officers from the
Southern Division and K9 Unit, searched the house of Lettao after a tip-off.

The officers searched every room and kitchen but could not find anything. They requested the accused to search the ceiling of the house, which he agreed.

There they found one black plastic bag and inside were dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Lettao will be recalled on the 11th of May.
