All students who have sat for the year 13 examinations have passed.
This was announced by the Ministry of Education at a press conference today in Suva.
Education Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy says there has been a significant increase in the overall marks across all subjects like Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics to name a few.
“We’re on the right track in terms of improving the performance of our students and raising the bar of excellence. We need to better prepare our students who will be entering the labour market or entering the labour market or undertaking studies in technical colleges.”
The Minister also highlighted the increase in the subject mean marks and this he says is due to the reintroduction of examinations and reforms carried out by the Education Ministry.
