Air Pacific passengers scheduled to return to Fiji on the new A330 aircraft yesterday, are stranded in Auckland due to a problem with the plane.
Air Pacific spokesperson Shane Hussein told FBC News this morning, the aircraft had an “in-service defect” on a wind shield.
The problem is being rectified in Auckland with maintenance done to it today.
Hussein says, the A330 is expected to return home this afternoon.
He says, the stranded passengers are being taken care of by Air Pacific.
The A330 white bodied aircraft – the first for Fiji – was received in the country on 19 March.
