Minister for Economy has highlighted the need to mainstream and recognize building resilience into national policies of countries and development planning.

Speaking during a panel discussion on Building a Resilient Pacific, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the countries need to be able to infiltrate climate change discipline in the budgetary process of the country.

Sayed-Khaiyum also urged the ministers from fellow Pacific Island countries to be more transparent in the measurement of vulnerability.
