Sayed-Khaiyum says the bonus pay is based on a strong financial performance by AFL in 2015.

‘’The five per cent is of course a recognition it’s not staggered in any way. It does not apply to only one category of staff of AFL but it’s across the board right from the cleaners all the way up to the management level and we want to be able to tell everybody that it’s a team effort and this is why the five percent bonus has been applied’’.

As per its management accounts AFL is forecasting an end of the year record profit of $40 million before tax and $32 million after tax.
