The people of Nakelo are now ready for Adi Samanunu’s burial today says vanua spokesperson Apenisa Ratu.

Ratu says chiefly delegations from around Fiji have been presenting their regureu for the last few days.

We are expecting more than 3,000 people today and we are ready and preapred for that.

She was escorted home yesterday by Tailevu chief the Roko Tui Namata and his people and accompanied by Adi Samanunu’s brother Ratu Jioji Cakobau.

Adi Samanunu’s final resting place will be the chiefly burial ground in Nakelo.
