More opportunities for MICE market

The Asian Development Bank’s high level meeting has given Fiji a platform to tap into the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions or MICE market.
Host resorts, Sheraton and Westin Resorts Multi Property Vice President, Neeraj Chadha says the meeting positions Fiji as a great destination for not only small conferences but also for larger conventions.
Chadha adds the MICE business will be greatly benefit the tourism industry.
“We have peaks and troughs in the tourism industry and the MICE helps us remove the troughs in the business. Therefore, tapping into the MICE business during the off peak season is a fabulous step forward for the tourism sector and the Fijians Economy.”
