An acting minister for the Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations portfolio is expected to announced soon.

FBC News understands that the position will be filled by a current Minister before a substantive appointment is made.

The ministerial position was held by Jioji Konrote who resigned last week prior to his formal nomination and subsequent appointment as the President elect.
