A 20-year-man who allegedly raped a 74-year-old woman in her Nasinu home in August last year appeared before the Suva High Court this week.
Meli Raitekiteki appeared before High Court Judge Justice Vincent Perera.
Raitekiteki pleaded not guilty to one count of rape and aggravated robbery – but pleaded guilty to giving false information to a public servant.
The Defence has requested for the identification of those involved in the arrest of the accused.
The Prosecution has asked for twenty-one days to respond.
Raitekiteki has been remanded and the case will be recalled on the 3rd of next month.
