Three people have died in the latest road fatalities.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed this morning that late yesterday, an accident occurred with a vehicle driven by a 28 year old Mohammed Zuber along with three other passengers which collided head on with another vehicle driven by a 26-year-old of Rakiraki.
The incident occurred in Ciriwai, Sigatoka with the victims travelling towards Nadi Airport. It’s alleged that Zuber failed to negotiate a bend and lurched to the opposite lane resulting in a collision.
It’s been reported that the driver died at the scene, his passengers, his mother in-law and father in-law died in hospital a few hours later and his wife also involved in the accident is admitted in hospital and in a stable condition.
