The Accident Compensation Commission conducted an awareness session about its services with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Engineering Regiment in Nabua last week.

This is part of the Commission’s outreach program to educate the wider community about their rights and obligations under the Accident Compensation Act 2017.

Chief executive, Parvez Akbar says they were able to inform the Engineering Regiment team about their services and how they can make accident compensation claims.

Akbar also emphasized on the importance of road safety so that injuries and fatalities can be prevented in the first place.

He is urging community groups and stakeholders to contact ACCF if they want similar awareness sessions to be conducted for them.
