95 people booked for speeding

Ninety- five drivers have been booked for speeding in the last 24 hours.

The Western Division recorded the most number of bookings with 51 drivers booked.

Police Force spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the current bad weather will pose a serious safety concern and drivers must be mindful of the need to be safe at all times.

Naisoro says speeding continues to be the leading cause of accidents and fatalities.

She adds the current rainy weather could lead to more accidents being recorded on our roads.

Pedestrians are also requested to be cautious as drivers vision may be hindered with the heavy rain.
