A 7-year-old boy is dead following a road accident in Lautoka yesterday.

According to Police, the boy was crossing the Natabua junction when it is alleged a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old hit the boy.

The incident occurred around 3.30pm.

Police confirms that the driver is being questioned.
