Seven Police officers from Ba are now in custody at the Lautoka Police Station for alleged theft.

Police Commissioner Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua says the officers committed the offence during the heist of the flood which wreaked havoc in the western division last week.

It is alleged the officers stole food items while on duty in Ba town.
