660 wheelchairs donated by Fiji Wheelchairs so far

Giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference in someone’s life.

The statement best describes Chetan Singh Heyer who is the Founder and Volunteer of Fiji Wheelchairs.

Heyer is based in San Francisco and has so far donated 660 wheelchairs for those who really need it in Fiji.

“As of today the Fiji Wheelchairs have brought in 660 wheelchairs and each consignment has been given to the Ministry and to the Rotary club and Lions club to hand out”.

Heyer says he will never forget his roots despite residing in another country.

Meanwhile, Minister for Health Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete says such assistance is a clear testament in considering the needs and welfare of Fijians.
