A man is in custody after police raided his house in Malamala, Nadi.

Police found dried leaves in a white sack with heaps wrapped in newspaper believed to be marijuana and cash.

Another search was conducted at the 62-year-old suspect’s farm, whereby plants ranging from 10cm to 50cm were uprooted.

In Tavua Town, officers on patrol also arrested two men from Dawasamu, Tailevu for allegedly being in possession of dried leaves wrapped in newspaper and aluminium foil all believed to be marijuana.

Both men remain in custody.
