61-year-old Ashraf Ali who was killed during the Christchurch shooting was laid to rest in the last hour.
Ali was living in New Zealand for seventeen years.
He was also a regular worshipper and had gone to the Al Noor Mosque in Deans Ave, Christchurch for Jumaah prayers when he was shot.
His body was released earlier today, six days after the horrendous shooting which claimed fifty lives.
Meanwhile, the second victim Haji Hafiz Musa Patel will be laid to rest in Auckland in the next hour.
Fiji Muslim League confirms the funeral of Pesh Imam will be held at 3pm at SAMA section Manukau Memorial Garden in Puhinui Auckland.
Patel and his wife left Fiji three weeks ago for Australia and at the invitation of friends and well-wishers he went to Christchurch and was attending the Jummah Prayers when he was killed.
Meanwhile, 58-year-old Ashraf Ali commonly known as Babu was laid to rest yesterday.
Ali had gone to New Zealand a week before the shooting to visit his families.
