A 6-year-old has died after being trapped inside a burning house at Akbar Road, Vitawa in Rakiraki early this morning.

The incident happened around 2 am.

The victim was trapped inside a six bedroom house which was owned by a 65-year-old farmer.

The other ten occupants of the house managed to escape unharmed.

Investigation continues.
