The final and fifth cane payment for the last crushing season will soon be announced by the Sugar Industry Tribunal.

Fiji Sugar Corporation Chief Operating Officer Navin Chandra says that they are working hard to see this payment made out before the end of this month.

Meanwhile Sugar Cane Growers Council CEO, Sundresh Chetty has already requested the FSC to make the payout if possible before Diwali.

Both Chandra and Chetty refused to comment on how much the payout will be.
