A fifty-five-year-old woman from Namara, Salima, Kadavu has died following an accident in Fletcher Road, Suva yesterday afternoon.

It is alleged the thirty-year-old driver who was heading towards Nasese failed to negotiate a bend and as a result the vehicle veered off the road and landed in the drain.

Two other passengers involved in the accident have been medically examined.

Police investigation continues.
