$50M shopping complex to replace old Nausori bus station

A $50 million shopping complex is expected to be built at the old Nausori bus station.

Nausori Town Council Chief Executive, Akhtar Ali confirms the land owners of the site and their commercial investor from China has submitted the development proposal which has gone to the Town and Country Planning for approval.

“It’s a commercial development with a lot of shopping facilities, shopping environment, something like something like you’ve seen in Damodar City or Tappoo city type of development with a lot of shopping lots like supermarkets, shopping complex, doctors, internet shops and a quite a comprehensive food outlet, food courts and all that.”

Ali says the new development is expected to commence anytime this year depending on the approval from relevant authorities.

Meanwhile work on the New Shop and Save multimillion dollar complex will start soon.
