50K collected for WOWS

The WOWS Kids Walk and Head Shave 2014 has so far raised more than $50,000.

Contributions are still pouring in from companies and individuals.

WOWS Kids (Fiji) chairman Makrava Wilson says the WOWS Walk 2014 covered 462 kilometres around Viti Levu across 13 days and the Head Shave section is ongoing with three international rugby players still to shave their locks.

Italy-based Alex Rokobaro and Wellington lock Api Naikatini will shave their heads this month, whilst Australia’s newest Wallaby Henry Speight will shave his magnificent afro in early December.

France-based Flying Fijians Wame Lewaravu and Adriu Delai shaved their heads in mid-October, raising some $1,000 for the cause.
