Opposition MP Mosese Bulitavu and 5 fellow SODELPA MPs today faced an investigating team charged with looking into an audit report and allegations of misconduct.

SODELPA’s General Secretary Pio Tabaiwalu told FBC News that to ensure the 4 member investigating team was as impartial as possible; the party executives had distanced themselves to allow the investigation to run its course.

Tabaiwalu could not confirm exactly who the members of investigating team are, only that they come from within the party.

Repeated calls to Bulitavu remain unanswered.

The investigating team which is answerable to SODELPA’s management report is expected to finalise their report by the 2nd of October.
