Iliesa Vakabua will serve 13 years behind bars for aggravated robbery but has been acquitted of the murder charge.

The group broke into the home of John Leonard Dass and while one of them held him down as he slept, the others punched him in the ribs before tying his hands and legs.

Only Vakabua was found not guilty of murder as he was outside the house as a look out.

The men then stole jewellery and other items before fleeing.

The incident happened in August 2010 in Lautoka.
