322 students graduate from FNU

322 students from the Fiji National University’s College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism studies graduated at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva today.

Amongst the graduates was Elizabeth Sidal who graduated with a double major in banking and management.

She says her journey was not an easy one as she had to juggle between work and study along with supporting her family financially.

“So my mum does not work, she stays at home, she is a domestic worker and my dad is a carpenter and at times, it would be difficult as his work would only depend on the weather, So if the weather is good but if the weather isn’t good it would be unfavorable for him to go and work out there.”

Through her hard work, Elizabeth now works as a human resource personnel at the VOU Dance Company.

She attributed her success to her family for their continuous support towards her.
