Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama welcomed in Australian Parliament

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama was today welcomed in the Australian Parliament in Canberra.

Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison welcomed Bainimarama with a guard of honour and a 21 gun salute.

Bainimarama and Morrisson also took the time to talk to school students visiting the Australian parliament.

The two Prime Ministers have begun their bilateral meeting behind closed doors – with discussions focusing on the Vuvale Partnership.

Bainimarama is expected to have other bilateral meetings later today.
