3000 more students to receive stationary

Save the Children Fiji says more students will be assisted with stationary after the recent floods.

So far over 3200 students have been assisted in 51 affected schools and more needy students have been identified.

Chief Executive, Chandra Shekhar told FBC News that there are also plans to provide students with some lunch as they can’t afford to bring food to school.

“Save the children Fiji is tied up with main focus and that is to send the children back to school."

They need over $650,000 to buy food for the students and so far, they have secured $91,000.

SCF is pleading donors to assist them to meet their target.
