October 31, 2018 4:33 am

The annual ‘2dayFM Stiletto’s Relay Race for Cancer’ will be held this Saturday from 8am at Albert Park Suva.

This year’s competition is expected to be tougher than 2017 as it is being organized on a bigger scale.

This is the second stiletto race but it is the first relay race of its kind.

So far more than 10 teams have registered and people can continue registering until Saturday morning.

2dayFM breakfast show host, Sharon Lui says even if people are not taking part in the race they can still come and cheer for their teams.

“It is a four-member team and two guys and two girls will be in the race – so it is going to be really exciting as it will be the battle of sexes. You get to see guys race and girls race and probably get to decide who can really run better in heels – is it men or women?”

Lui says this is a good course to help with the fight against cancer as all proceeds from the race will go towards the Fiji Cancer Society.
