October 28, 2017 1:06 am

Fiji Broadcasting Corporation TV and radio personalities along with a few Fijians raised public awareness on cancer at Albert Park in Suva this morning by taking part in the 2DAYfm stiletto race.

2DAYfm Program Director, Mario Fasala says the event also aimed at raising funds for people fighting the battle with cancer.

“It was alright actually and it’s the first of its kind so obviously there are teething issues with it but we’re glad that we have participants who showed up and it’s all for a good cause and we plan to make it an annual event as well. The total distance we had to run was around eight hundred meters from start to finish.”
