The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation’s 2dayfm radio station will be having the country’s first stilettos run tomorrow at Albert Park in Suva.

The event aims to raise funds for people fighting the battle against cancer and help create more public awareness on the disease.

Station Program Director, Mario Fasala says the registrations are still open with ten dollars per person and he encourages all Fijians to take part.

“It will be fun because it’s the first stilettos run and you wouldn’t imagine people running in stilettos but this is all for a good cause and some may think why stilettos because it might sound impossible but remember there are people fighting the impossible each and every day. So this is just another creative way of raising awareness about cancer and its prevention as well.”

Fasala says the event which will start around 9am is a fun programme for families to attend and show their support.
