250 Fijians selected for New Zealand residency

The New Zealand government has released a list of 250 Fijians whose names have been drawn under the New Zealand Pacific Access Category quota.

A release from the New Zealand High Commission in Suva states a total of 8,997 registrations were received – representing 22,430 individual nominees.

Immigration New Zealand will contact those who were successful in the ballot draw in the next two weeks with information about the next steps and how to apply for residence in New Zealand.

The release says the list of successful Fijians is available at the New Zealand TTS Visa Application Centres in Suva and Lautoka, and will be published in dailies this weekend.

Those successful in the ballot will have until March 2016 to complete and lodge their formal residence visa applications.
