It will be an exciting start to 244 students of Koroipita Model Town in Lautoka after they received school bags filled with exercise books and stationary from FENC Fiji.

FENC Fiji Representative Dwain Qalovaki says one hundred and nineteen males and one hundred and twenty five female students received the gifts.

Qalovaki says that a total of 45 volunteers walked four hundred and sixteen kilometers around Viti Levu to raise critical funds to sustain its hallmark Child Sponsorship Program.

He adds in 2017, a total of one thousand, two hundred and forty two students were assisted with school essentials.

Koripita is home to about 1,000 Fijians, most being under-privileged.
